Ngramble does not require an account. Your current game, results, streak and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Anonymous usage counts

Anonymous usage counts are on by default. You can turn them off at any time in Settings without affecting gameplay.

When enabled, the game sends the puzzle number, action type, letter-feedback pattern, selected reveal position and broad timings to Ngramble’s first-party event endpoint. Those events are stored in Ngramble’s hosted analytics database so we can compare puzzle difficulty, completion, reveal use and interface friction.

We do not send partial input, invalid submitted text, valid answer guesses, your name, an email address or a cross-day player identifier. The random session identifier resets for each puzzle.

Hosting information

Like any website host, our hosting provider processes ordinary connection information to deliver the site safely and measure reliability. Ngramble uses aggregate hosting and performance statistics.

Your choices

You can turn anonymous usage counts off or on at any time in Settings. Clearing this site’s browser data removes your local game history and preferences.
